Removal* of the self-seeded scrub reveals the lie of the land at the start of the Sainsbury's transformation.

* This task had to be done before the wildlife mating season commences.

    Sainsbury's are working in conjunction with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Trust (and many tertiary contributors)
 to provide a major redevelopment of the Selly Oak district of Birmingham, UK.

Their five-year project will deliver a significant alteration to the road structures,
to include the reinstatement of the 'first' length of the Lapal Canal, as an architectural feature of the site.
